About Melissa Broder
Melissa Broder is an experienced board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner providing excellent care to the TLC Perinatal patient community. Melissa graduated from the University of Maryland Baltimore County with a degree in Psychology and a Minor in Biology, where she earned recognition on the President's List and was awarded the Undergraduate Research Award for her research into genetic carrier testing. Melissa then earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the George Washington University, graduating magna cum laude.
Melissa began her nursing career in 2014 at the High Risk Perinatal Center at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, Maryland, providing in-patient care to patients with complications arising out of high-risk pregnancies. After graduating with a Master of Science in Nursing degree from Simmons University and joining the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, Melissa joined TLC Perinatal in 2018. She is passionate about providing excellent and sensitive care for the high-risk obstetric population. Melissa sees patients in our Silver Spring office.
Melissa is a native of Maryland and resides in Silver Spring. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her husband & kids, and watching the latest reality television.
